We met the couple earlier this year, and it was gratifying to learn that they instantly chose their wedding day photo style. We went through their big day planning smoothly.
The getting ready: As a Melbourne wedding photographer, I began Jessica and Stephan’s special day by documenting their morning preparations. This included capturing intricate details of their attire and jewellery. Subsequently, I invited the bridal party to relax, enjoy some beverages, and engage in spontaneous and enjoyable moments, which I candidly photographed. Following this, the bridal party assisted Jessica and Stephan in donning their wedding attire, including the jacket and wedding dress, as we continued to capture these significant moments.
The wedding ceremony: In the presence of their cherished families and friends, Jessica and Stephan were joyously united as husband and wife at the St Ignatius Church in Melbourne. Following this beautiful wedding ceremony, our dedicated Melbourne wedding photographer organized group photos and family portraits to capture the love and togetherness of this momentous occasion.
The wedding photo location: For the bridal party wedding photography, we ventured to some iconic Melbourne locations, starting with the enchanting Carlton Gardens, where lush greenery provided a picturesque setting. We also explored the majestic staircase behind the church, capturing moments against this elegant backdrop. Lastly, we made our way to the Parliament House, where the combination of grand architecture and the Melbourne city skyline served as a stunning backdrop for capturing a diverse range of wedding photos, infusing the album with both natural beauty and urban sophistication allure.
